My fourth graders have been working on simple perspective. Last week we did a "one-point perspective" project and this week we are working on aerial perspective! I just LOVE these snowmen (and the kids do too!)
I'm not gonna lie, I found this lesson over on Pinterest.

Hi Joanna,I hope you don´t mind if I steel this idea, what a great snowman. I teach art to children age 6-16 and sometimes it is so good to have new ideas like the snowman.
These are so fun - thanks for linking to my blog - I also got the idea from Pinterest and there is a link on my post to what is possibly the original idea. I actually did these on the computer with a class today and that was fun too. Happy winter!
sorry forgot to post a link to my lesson..this one I love and the kids love it also! http://artclassworks.blogspot.com/2011/01/toboggans-by-2nd-grade.html
Thanks for linking the heads-first snowmen to my birthday party.
Surely you've seen me with pictures of the no-kidding tutu's on my head??!?!?!?! Its one of my signature moves. I don't even save it for my birthday! LOL.
Thanks for all of your support as we've launched the collaboration. Here's to every epiphany that pops into your head -- for years to come!!!!
